AI logo generator for new small businesses: design and preview free, then pay for high-resolution logo files
Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
A fit for a side business or new company that wants a serviceable logo in minutes without design skills, and is happy to edit a generated design. Read the terms before you rely on the mark: ownership depends on paying for and downloading the logo, Tailor Brands does not check logos for infringement, and it keeps a licence to use yours in its own marketing.
The logo maker asks for very little: a name, the type of business and a short description, then a logo type and the fonts you like. From the options it generates you choose one and refine it in the editor, which stores the design in your Tailor Brands account so it can be changed later. The same studio carries the logo into Tailor Brands' own website builder, digital business cards, print store and LLC formation services.
Making and previewing a logo costs nothing, and you can download a low-resolution version free; the high-resolution files are paid. Read the billing terms before you buy: fees are generally non-refundable, a $29 service fee is normally deducted from any refund, though Tailor Brands may waive it when the refund follows an overpayment or a service it failed to deliver, and subscription services renew automatically, with the charge taken up to 30 days before the renewal period starts. You cancel from your account settings.
The logo-maker FAQ promises full commercial rights once you have made and paid for a logo, and the terms let you keep using a purchased logo commercially after a subscription expires. Those same terms make ownership conditional on paying in full, complying with them and downloading the file; after a refund or chargeback that is not remedied within 15 days, Tailor Brands may reuse the logo. You also give Tailor Brands a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use your logo for its internal and marketing purposes, logos are not reviewed for intellectual-property infringement and are provided as-is, and content you provide may be used to build the AI models behind the service. The privacy policy says Tailor Brands does not sell, rent or lease personal data.

What you can actually do with this tool.
Enter the business name, type and a sentence on what it does, choose a wordmark, monogram or icon logo, and pick font styles; the generator then returns a selection of logos, which Tailor Brands says takes less than a minute. It says it does not use pre-made logo templates.
Change the fonts, icons and colours of the design you pick. Logos stay in your account's studio, and you can go back and edit them after downloading.
The logo-maker page advertises high-resolution vector EPS, SVG and PNG files with a transparent background, 21 resized versions for the major social platforms and branded assets such as a brand book, letterheads and business cards. Tailor Brands' help centre ties the vector files and some of those assets to particular plans, so not every purchase includes every format or asset.
Tailor Brands will file and track a USPTO trademark application for your logo at an additional cost; the terms say using the service does not guarantee the application is received or approved.
Common questions about this tool, answered.
Designing, editing and downloading a low-resolution version are free. High-resolution files are a paid purchase, so confirm the price and which files are included before you buy. If you are forming an LLC with Tailor Brands, each of its LLC plans lists 8 free logos.
The logo-maker page advertises vector EPS, SVG and PNG files. Tailor Brands' help-centre plan descriptions, edited in September 2025, list high-resolution JPG and PNG files for its Basic plan and add vector EPS files with the Standard and Premium plans; they do not mention SVG. If you need EPS or SVG for print, confirm your plan includes it before paying.
Once you have paid for it in full, complied with the terms and downloaded it, yes, and you can use it commercially even after a subscription expires. Ownership does not pass after a refund or chargeback, and Tailor Brands keeps a perpetual licence to use the logo for its own internal and marketing purposes.
You can, and Tailor Brands sells a trademark filing service for USPTO applications at extra cost, without any guarantee of approval. Because logos are generated without an infringement review and you warrant that yours does not infringe anyone's rights, a clearance search before filing is worth the time.
