Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
Support and sales teams that write customer replies inside tools like Zendesk or Salesforce get suggestions, autocomplete and shared snippets in place from Sapling, and developers can buy the same grammar and rephrasing functions as an API. Fees are non-refundable and not prorated, so the free 1-month Pro trial is the time to evaluate, and team pricing is Enterprise only, from 10 seats.
An agent installs the extension or a workspace add-on and keeps writing in the help desk, CRM or email client; Sapling offers writing suggestions, completions, rephrasings and snippets while they write. A developer instead generates an API key and sends text to the endpoints, metered per character. The trial key covers 50,000 characters every 24 hours and expires after one month.
Individuals are enrolled in the Pro trial automatically once they register and confirm their email. The billing FAQ says the trial is not a subscription and cancels itself if no payment method is added. Paid subscriptions run through Stripe and continue until cancelled, and the Terms require cancelling before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. The billing FAQ also mentions discounts for nonprofits and educational organisations.
API usage is billed monthly in arrears, with an invoice each time $50 accrues, or drawn from prepaid credits. Sapling's security page states TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, SOC 2 Type II certification, GDPR compliance and support for HIPAA and PCI requirements. Its developer documentation says text is processed on AWS in its US West region, numbers, email addresses and URLs are discarded first, and a no-data-retention option is offered.

What you can actually do with this tool.
Grammar and writing suggestions, Autocomplete Everywhere and Rephrase appear inside the browser tools a team already uses, through the extensions and the Google Docs, Gmail, Word, Outlook, Slides and PowerPoint add-ons. Free gives basic suggestions; the advanced ones, autocomplete and rephrasing are Pro features.
Saved snippets let a team reuse standard wording: 20 on Free, unlimited on Pro and Enterprise.
Sapling publishes 73 integration guides, grouped as 26 support platforms, 12 sales tools, 20 collaboration tools, 4 document surfaces and 11 rich-text editors. The home page headlines ServiceNow, Salesforce, Zendesk, Amazon Connect and Twilio Flex.
Developers call grammar, autocomplete, rephrasing, tone and sentiment, classification and AI detection endpoints over HTTP, with Python and JavaScript client libraries, and an MCP server lets Claude, Claude Code and other MCP clients call Sapling directly. The AI Detector endpoint works in English only.
The developer documentation supports on-premises deployment wherever Docker containers can run, and cloud-premises deployment on AWS, Azure or GCP.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
A new API subscription is charged a one-time $5 minimum, credited toward usage, with no recurring monthly minimum. Sapling's own documents give different start dates for the rule: the API pricing documentation says subscriptions started on or after August 12, 2026, while the billing FAQ says on or after June 12, 2026.
Not by default. The Terms forbid licensing, selling or otherwise commercially exploiting the Service unless a signed agreement says otherwise. The SDK shows a small badge by default, and white-labelling for resale is arranged by contacting Sapling.
No. Neither the 1-month Pro trial nor the API trial key asks for a card. The Pro trial is offered to individuals; teams are quoted for Enterprise.
