Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
A fit for professionals who answer a lot of routine email and want drafts that sound like them, without handing an AI the keys to the inbox: you paste, Replai drafts, you send. The free reply generator needs no account and no card, and Pro costs $6 a month billed yearly or $8 month to month. Before relying on the free plan for a connected inbox, know that Replai's pages disagree on what Free includes, from the daily reply count to whether sorting is free at all, so test it on the free tier and check the pricing page on the day you decide.
Replai runs entirely in the browser; the vendor states there is nothing to download, no browser extension and no app. The quickest path is the free reply generator: describe what you want to say and get a draft to copy into your email client. With an account you paste three to ten of your own emails, Replai turns them into a reply identity with formality, warmth and directness scores, and from then on drafts match that style. Connect an inbox and the assistant reads incoming mail, applies its labels or categories without moving anything, and writes replies straight into your Gmail or Outlook Drafts folder. You review and send each message yourself; the sending question below sets out exactly which permissions Replai asks for.
Pricing is short: a free tier, Pro at $6 a month on the annual toggle or $8 month to month, paid by card through Stripe, and a quote-based Team option. The free tier is where Replai's pages disagree with each other, on the daily reply allowance and on whether a free account can connect an inbox and have it sorted; the plan card above reproduces each printed version and the first two FAQs walk through them. Pro's unlimited replies are the vendor's word, qualified in the terms by a fair-use soft cap of 200 generations a day.
On data, Replai says reply generation runs through the OpenAI API, the only third party that receives your content, and that your text and saved examples are not used to train or fine-tune any model. Text typed into the free generator is not kept after the reply is returned; saved examples, your style profile and connected-inbox draft records stay until you delete them. Replai acts as data controller from the UK under UK GDPR, stores passwords hashed and traffic encrypted, and names no certification. You own the examples you submit. Who owns the drafts is stated two ways inside the same terms: one section says Replai owns the derived style profiles and the generated output, while the intellectual-property section says Replai claims no copyright in generated output, which is provided for your use. The terms permit professional drafting for your own business communications while prohibiting spam and reselling the output as a service. Replai itself says the tool is not right for legal, medical, financial or HR matters without careful review, and that every draft is a draft, not a finished email.

What you can actually do with this tool.
Paste three to ten emails you have written, or let Replai read your Sent folder, and it builds a reply identity scored on formality, warmth and directness. New drafts are matched to that profile instead of a generic assistant tone. One identity per account, so there are no per-client styles.
The free tool drafts a reply from your goal, tone, recipient and key points, with nothing to sign up for or connect. Replai itself tells you to describe the message rather than paste the original if it contains anything private.
With Gmail, Outlook or an IMAP mailbox connected, Replai applies its labels, categories or folders to incoming mail and saves draft replies into your Drafts folder. You open the draft in your usual client, edit it and send it.
Gmail and Google Workspace via Google sign-in, outlook.com, hotmail.com and Microsoft 365 via Microsoft sign-in, and any IMAP server, with Yahoo, Fastmail, iCloud, ProtonMail Bridge and Zoho named by the vendor. Gmail and Outlook can both sit on one account.
A personal booking link syncs with Google and Outlook Calendar, creates events and sends confirmations, on the free plan. An AI Email Writer drafts whole emails from bullet points, covering the cases where you start the thread rather than answer it.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
There is a standing free tier, which Replai says is not a trial and has no expiry: the reply generator works without an account or card, and a free account adds booking links and the free tools. The pricing page also lists style analysis on the free plan and says you can build your style profile for free, while its own Pro blurb says Pro adds style learning and a security FAQ describes saved writing examples as a Pro feature, so the style profile on Free is another point to confirm. How many replies the free plan allows depends on which Replai page you read: 10 a day on the pricing and home pages, 10 inbox drafts a month for a signed-in free account and 10 a day for anonymous use in the terms, 200 a day on the reply-drafts page, and no limit in the generator's own FAQ. Check the pricing page before you plan around a number.
Pro is $6 a month billed $72 a year under the annual toggle, which the pricing page opens on, or $8 a month on monthly billing; the page prints a bare dollar sign. It brings the vendor's unlimited AI draft replies, capped by a fair-use limit of 200 generations a day in the terms, up to 5 connected accounts with Gmail and Outlook on one account, automatic Gmail labels and Outlook categories, follow-up drafts, Outlook Calendar integration, an unbranded booking page and priority support. You pay by card via Stripe and can cancel any time, keeping access to the end of the period; there are no pro-rata refunds. Team pricing is by quote.
Not without you. Replai's Gmail page says it asks for read access, label management and optional Drafts access and no permission to send; the Outlook page lists Mail.ReadWrite and optional calendar access, again with no send permission; the security page and terms say there is no auto-send. Its IMAP setup page says the opposite: add your SMTP details and Replai can send outgoing replies through your provider directly. If sending matters to you either way, confirm it during setup. In normal use drafts land in your Drafts folder and you send them.
Replai processes content through the OpenAI API, which it names as the only third party receiving your text, and states that neither your text nor your saved examples are used to train or fine-tune a model. Free generator inputs are not kept after the reply is returned; saved examples, your style profile and connected-inbox draft records are kept until you delete them. Replai is the UK data controller under UK GDPR and claims no security certification.
Replai's pages do not agree. The Free card on the pricing page lists one Gmail, Outlook or IMAP inbox with inbox sorting and auto-labels; the comparison table lower on the same page marks inbox sorting, Gmail labels and Outlook categories as No for Free; the terms and privacy policy call the inbox connection an optional Pro feature; and the Gmail and Outlook product pages say the free plan sorts the inbox and drafts replies. What is consistent is that connecting an inbox is optional at every level and that Pro allows up to 5 connected accounts. If free inbox sorting is the deciding factor, treat it as unconfirmed until you see it working in your own account.
