What is this tool?

Start on the free tier, because it is sized for a real test rather than a demo: 75 credits is roughly 75 minutes of processed video a month, enough to run a genuine week of content through. Its edges are the decision — 720p output, TikTok as the only publishing destination, seven-day retention — so the question is which of the three you outgrow first. Above it sit three paid tiers, sold monthly with cheaper annual rates. One thing is not settled here: what annual billing does to those credits. Quso's pricing page and its help desk give different answers.

Quso.ai is built around one loop: a long recording goes in, short vertical clips come out with captions on them, and those clips are scheduled and published without leaving the tool. The selection of which moments become clips is the automated part; the scheduling is what keeps it from being a clipper you export out of.

The meter is a credit, and Quso states plainly on both its pricing page and its FAQ that one credit is roughly one minute of processed video. Clipping, captioning and editing all draw on the same monthly pool. The practical effect is that a heavy reviser and a light one on the same plan will not get the same amount of published work out of it.

The free tier is $0 with 75 credits a month and needs no card. It renders at 720p, publishes to TikTok, and retains data for seven days. Those three limits do different jobs: 720p decides whether the output is publishable for you, TikTok decides whether the test is representative, and seven-day retention decides whether your review cycle fits inside it.

Above the free tier are Lite, Essential and Growth, carrying 100, 300 and 600 credits a month — figures Quso's pricing page and its help desk agree on. Each is sold monthly with a cheaper annual rate. Two things about that ladder are not settled between Quso's own surfaces, so they are not stated here. The pricing page and the help desk give different figures for how many credits annual billing adds, and the help desk lists a mobile-exclusive plan that the pricing page does not show at all. Neither is resolved here, so an annual commitment made on an assumed credit figure is a commitment made on nothing.

Is this right for you?

Quick fit check against how you actually work.

Choose this if
  • Your monthly output is measurable in minutes of source video, which is the unit Quso bills in
  • You want clipping, captioning, scheduling and publishing without moving files between tools
  • Seventy-five minutes a month is enough, or close enough that a free month is a real test
  • TikTok is where your short-form output goes, so the free tier's publishing route matches your workflow
  • You would rather judge automatic clip selection on your own footage than on someone else's demo
Consider alternatives if
  • You need better than 720p output without paying
  • Seven days of retention is shorter than your review and approval cycle
  • You publish to several platforms and the free tier's single destination makes a free trial unrepresentative
  • You want to commit annually on a known credit allowance: Quso's pricing page and its help desk state the annual uplift differently
  • You revise heavily, since re-editing draws on the same credits that produced the clip

Key features

What you can actually do with this tool.

Credits you can count in minutes

One credit is roughly one minute of processed video, stated identically on the pricing page and the FAQ. That makes the plan decision arithmetic rather than guesswork: a month's source footage in minutes is a month's credits.

One pool for clipping, captioning and editing

All three draw on the same monthly credits. Iteration is therefore not free — re-cutting a clip spends from the same allowance that produced it, which matters most to people who revise heavily before publishing.

A free tier that does real work

$0, 75 credits a month, no card. It is enough to run your own footage through rather than watch someone else's, which is the only honest way to judge automatic clip selection.

Publishing in the same place as editing

Clips are scheduled and published from the tool rather than exported and uploaded elsewhere. On the free tier that publishing route is TikTok.

The free tier's limits are quality and retention, not only volume

720p output and seven days of data retention bound the free plan alongside its credits. Either can be the thing that forces an upgrade before the credits run out.

Frequently asked

Common questions about this tool, answered.

What is on the free tier?

$0 a month with 75 credits, 720p render quality, TikTok publishing and seven days of data retention. No credit card is required to start.

Does annual billing come with more credits?

Quso says annual billing increases the credit allowance, but its pricing page and its help desk give different figures for how much. No annual credit number is published here, and this page does not say which surface to believe. Do not commit to a year on an assumed figure.

Is the published list of plans complete?

Treat it as possibly not. Quso's help desk lists a mobile-exclusive plan that its pricing page does not show, so the two surfaces do not describe the same set of tiers, and neither is treated here as the complete list.
