Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
Suits someone who wants a shortlist of domain names that the vendor says are available and scored, and who is happy to pay a little per search after the first. A free account includes one domain search in total, from its 2 sign-up credits, and two name-idea searches a day; after that each domain search uses 2 credits, which cost $0.25 each in the 10- and 20-credit packs and less in the 40- and 120-credit packs or on a subscription. Treat a listed name as a lead, not a reservation, until the registrar confirms it.
You describe the idea in a sentence and press Find domains. Without an account, that button opened a sign-up dialog on 3 November 2026; accounts are made with Google or with an email and password. The vendor says names then arrive in batches as their domains are checked, and that Register opens a registrar with the name filled in. You buy the domain there, since Nametastic does not register domains.
The vendor describes the other generators and Brand Builder the same way: a short brief in, a list of names or logo drafts out, with credits charged for extra searches and downloads. Its changelog has entries from the May 2025 launch to October 2026.

What you can actually do with this tool.
The vendor says each search writes names in several styles, checks their domains live across more than 100 endings, drops the taken ones and shows the rest with a 0 to 100 score and a one-line reason the name fits.
According to the vendor you can search .com only or pick up to ten endings.
Separate generators cover business and brand names, usernames, fantasy and gaming names, places, people and pets. The vendor says a business-name search returns 20 names and that some username generators check platforms such as Roblox, YouTube and TikTok.
Nametastic says Brand Builder turns a chosen name into logo drafts, so you can see the name as a mark before you buy the domain. Paid downloads add vector files, an app icon and, in the full identity, brand guidelines and social images.
With an account, the vendor describes favourites, a history grouped by day, filters by status, ending or score, share links and a slower Deep Research mode that searches more widely.
Pricing tiers and what's included in each.
Common questions about this tool, answered.
The pricing and support pages say a domain search uses 2 credits and that a credit costs $0.25 in the 10- and 20-credit packs, less in the 40- and 120-credit packs and on Pro ($9.99 a month for 50 credits) or Premium ($29.99 a month for 180). The home page and FAQ say instead that "a new account gets enough for its first one, and more cost $0.25 each", so check the credit count at checkout. The vendor's FAQ says Deep Research uses 3 credits.
A free account, with no card, gets 2 credits at sign-up, enough for one domain search, plus 2 name-idea searches a day and the first three logo and avatar drafts for each name. The vendor's own wording varies: the generators index calls every tool free and the FAQ says checking availability costs nothing, while the pricing page meters both. The changelog also mentions a first name search of the day without sign-up, but on 3 November 2026 the business name generator showed a sign-up dialog instead of names to a visitor who was not signed in. No free trial of Pro or Premium is listed.
The vendor says every suggestion is checked live and that a name shown as available can be registered straight away. Its terms say availability comes from third-party data that may be outdated or wrong, and do not guarantee registration.
Pack credits never expire, and unused Pro and Premium credits roll over each month. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and no annual price is listed. The terms give a full refund within 14 days of a charge if none of its credits has been used; once one is used, that purchase is non-refundable.
The privacy policy says descriptions, searches and history are stored, used to run the service and to "improve our algorithms", and kept with no fixed retention period while needed; names you search may be passed to availability services. The vendor says its names come from Claude models, and the policy says inputs may be processed by third-party AI services; neither it nor the terms says whether inputs are used to train AI models. You can delete the account in settings.
FUTURISTICA d.o.o. of Maribor, Slovenia; Slovenian law governs the terms. Users must be 16 or over, and the terms allow the company to limit searches per period.
