Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
A fit for creators and small teams who want several image models behind one free-to-start browser tool and the odd animated clip for social posts, without installing anything. Budget by trying it: LimeWire states its free allowance two ways, 60 credits a week on the studio screen and up to 10 images a day in its tool FAQs, and neither its pricing nor its tool pages print what one image costs in credits. Its public pricing page sells Pro and Pro+ as file-sharing plans with no AI-credit figure, so do not upgrade for credits until you have seen the plan page inside your account.
The studio is a web app at limewire.com/ai-studio. For images you select a model, write the prompt, add a negative prompt if you want to steer away from something, and the result arrives in seconds; fixing the seed lets you regenerate a near-identical image later. For video you upload a still of up to 50 MB, add an optional motion prompt, and get a 3 to 5 second MP4 at 16 credits a file. Files on the Free plan expire after 3 days and LimeWire's terms say AI output may be subject to the same storage and deletion rules as uploads, so download what you want to keep.
Money works in credits, and LimeWire's own pages describe the free quota two ways, set out in the first FAQ. Beyond it you can buy one-off credit packs without a subscription, paying in ordinary currency, USDC or LimeWire's own LMWR token, which here is just a payment method; pack prices are not printed on the pricing or tool pages. The two subscriptions, Pro and Pro+, are listed on the pricing page as file-sharing plans with upload size and link life as their features. The home page says paid plans bring more AI credits and points to that pricing page for the breakdown, but no credit figure appears there and the plan page behind Upgrade needs a sign-in, so confirm the entitlement inside your account before paying for credits.
On rights and policy, LimeWire disclaims copyright in what you generate and leaves ownership with you, with caveats covered in the commercial-use question below. Output is provided as is, you are responsible for lawful use of prompts and results, and some generation runs on third-party services whose terms may also apply. The image-to-video page calls itself uncensored, yet the terms prohibit pornographic, exploitative, hateful, violent or infringing content and the service is for adults only. The privacy policy covers file-sharing data in detail but says nothing specific about prompts, source images or model training, and none of LimeWire's home, about, terms, privacy or press pages names the company that operates the brand.

What you can actually do with this tool.
Choose BlueWillow, LimeWire's own model, or Stable Diffusion XL, 2.1 and 1.5, DALL-E 3 and 2, or Google Imagen for the same prompt, with negative prompts and a fixable seed to reproduce a result. LimeWire says it updates the available models, so check the menu before relying on one.
Upload a JPG or PNG of up to 50 MB, optionally describe the motion you want, and download an MP4 of typically 3 to 5 seconds. Each video costs 16 credits; the tool page does not name the underlying video models.
The studio grants free credits every week with no payment to start, and one-off credit packs can be bought without a subscription when you run out. The exact free quota is one of the things LimeWire prints two ways; see the FAQ.
LimeWire claims no copyright in studio output and says that, between you and LimeWire, you own what you create, but it calls AI copyright an open question that varies by country and gives no guarantee of originality or legality. Review every output before you publish it.
Everything runs in the browser, so no GPU or local setup. Accounts can be created with email, Google or Discord; LimeWire's help centre also lists Facebook while its live sign-in page offers a Wallet option instead.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
There is a standing free allowance and nothing to pay to start. LimeWire describes it two ways: the studio screen shows 60 free credits a week, and the image tool FAQs say the generator is free for up to 10 images a day. Neither the pricing nor the tool pages print the credit cost of an image, so neither figure converts into the other; a video clip costs 16 credits. No time-limited trial is shown on the pricing page, studio screen or tool pages.
The public pricing page lists Pro at $9.99 a month or $95.90 a year and Pro+ at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, in US dollars, and describes both in terms of upload size and link life. The home page says paid plans include more AI credits with the breakdown on that pricing page, but no credit number appears there, and the detailed plan page is only shown after signing in. Subscriptions are charged in advance, renew automatically and can be cancelled in your account settings; the current period is not refunded.
LimeWire says it makes no copyright claim to assets created in the studio and that, between you and LimeWire, you are the copyright owner, while noting that copyright in AI output is an open question that differs from country to country. Its terms provide output as is, without any guarantee of originality or legality, and make you responsible for how prompts and outputs are used. There is no explicit commercial-use licence wording, so for client or advertising work take legal advice on your own jurisdiction.
The tool pages list BlueWillow (LimeWire's proprietary model), Stable Diffusion XL, Stable Diffusion 2.1 and 1.5, DALL-E 3, DALL-E 2 and Google Imagen for images, and say the available models change over time. The video models are not named on the tool page. Where generation runs on a third-party service, that provider's terms and technical limits may also apply.
Only payment. LimeWire's token is one of the ways you can buy credit packs, alongside ordinary currency and USDC, and the vendor describes it as a method of payment and rewards currency on its platform. No token-holder discount on AI credits is published.
