On-device noise cancellation plus bot-free meeting recording, transcription and notes, on per-user plans after a 7-day trial
Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
Remote workers and teams who take calls in noisy places and want meeting notes without a bot in the room get both from one desktop app. Test the cleaned-up voice on your own microphone during the 7-day trial, since a few users describe it as robotic or degraded, and note that noise cancellation needs the desktop app: the mobile app does not include it.
Install the desktop app (the help centre recommends 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11, or macOS 14 Sonoma or later, with 8GB of RAM or more), log in with your Krisp account and choose Krisp as the microphone and speaker in your calling app. Meetings are then captured without a bot, transcribed and summarised. The iOS app (iOS 16.2 or later) and the Android app record in-person meetings, and a Chrome extension covers Google Meet.
On Linux, Krisp's own pages disagree. The help centre's system-requirements article says the app is not supported on Linux and Chrome OS yet, while the product data published on Krisp's meeting-transcription and home pages lists Linux among the supported operating systems. Chrome OS is unsupported on both counts; for Linux, confirm with Krisp before planning around it.
Paid plans are charged per seat, with volume discounts above 50 members; Enterprise is bought through the account team. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year, cancelling keeps the paid plan until the end of the cycle, and payments are not refundable except as the terms state. Transcripts and recordings kept in Krisp Cloud are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, recording rests on consent, and the pricing page lists GDPR and SOC 2 Type II compliance. Krisp's Call Center AI and developer SDK lines are separate products sold through sales.

Four accounts on four YouTube videos from 2022 to 2025 describe the cleaned-up voice as degraded, each in their own setting: one says Krisp makes their recorded voice sound terrible; one says the quality drops to an old telephone when only their voice is let through; one, using pro studio equipment, says it definitely lowers the quality and adds, in their own words, that on a cheaper headset you probably will not hear the difference; and one calls it kind of robotic but way better than the background noise. Two comments on a single 2021 video point the other way: one commenter noticed no major change in voice quality, though fan and keyboard noise still came through, and another says it now sounds pretty good but cuts out too much background noise. The reports span older app versions, so treat this as a trade-off to test on your own microphone, not a verdict on the current model.
What you can actually do with this tool.
Background noise is removed on-device in the desktop app, and the pricing page lists it as unlimited on the trial, Core and Advanced. The mobile app does not include it.
The desktop app records online calls bot-free, a bot can be sent to meetings you cannot attend, and the mobile app handles in-person conversations; each produces a transcript, summary and action items.
English transcription runs locally; Spanish, French, German, Russian, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Hindi, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Czech, Ukrainian and Korean are transcribed server-side.
Converts the speaker's accent to US English in real time. Core allows 1 hour a day shared across both sides; Advanced allows 4 hours a day on the speaker side and unlimited listener-side use. It does not work offline.
Krisp's directory lists 47 integrations: Affinity, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Slack connect natively from Krisp settings, the rest through Zapier. Krisp MCP lets AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read meeting data, over Streamable HTTP only.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
Krisp's pricing page lists a 7-day free trial of all premium features that requires no credit card, then paid plans, and publishes no standing free plan or free allowance. The terms state that access ends when the trial expires unless a plan is bought, while the iOS App Store release notes say existing and shared data stay readable afterwards with recording and file import disabled.
Krisp gives two answers. Its integrations directory replies 'Not right now' and points to integrations and Zapier workflows instead, while its help centre publishes a Public API article for Core and Advanced that explains creating an API key to authenticate requests. Separately, the help centre places Krisp MCP on Core and Advanced. If programmatic access matters, confirm the current position with Krisp.
