Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
Print-on-demand sellers, small brands and designers making merch, labels and marketing graphics get layout, vector editing and AI generation in one browser editor. Paid plans include commercial use, capped at 500,000 copies per design on Pro and Expert. AI work is metered in plan tokens per editor that do not roll over, and commenters on nine videos say AI generation used up their tokens or credits quickly, so size the plan to your AI use.
Kittl runs in the browser and works best, the vendor says, on current Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Start from a template or a blank canvas, generate or upload images, edit text, vectors and layouts, build mockups and export. Kittl Technologies GmbH in Berlin operates it.
Paid plans renew monthly or yearly; according to the pricing page, the yearly price saves up to $200. Plan tokens do not roll over: monthly tokens reset each billing month and daily tokens at midnight UTC, with daily tokens spent first; purchased tokens never expire. You can cancel at any time in Settings > Plan & Billing; the plan runs to the end of the cycle and the account then drops to Free. Plans are non-refundable, apart from billing errors or exceptional cases Kittl reviews.
On paid plans you own the AI images and videos you generate; Pro and Expert cap each design at 500,000 printed copies or expected viewers, Max has no cap, and designs made on Pro or Expert can still be used commercially after the subscription ends while the account stays open. Publishing a design to the Kittl community transfers its rights to Kittl. Kittl says uploads are used only to let you design in the editor, and AI images made on Free are shared publicly with the community.

Three themes recur in comments under Kittl tutorials and reviews on YouTube. Ten commenters on nine videos from 2023 to 2026 say AI generations used up their credits or tokens quickly; one describes having to redo results with each attempt costing a credit, and another wasted credits trying to create a video. Five commenters on five videos from 2025 and 2026 say Kittl's interface keeps changing; one says it left them lost, another that they are tired of the changes. Seven commenters on six videos from 2023 to 2026 describe lag, glitches, slowness, crashes or technical problems in the editor, one of them reporting major technical issues over three weeks in early 2025. These are user experiences, not measures of current token costs or reliability.
What you can actually do with this tool.
Generate images, vectors and video, run an agentic assistant or multi-step Flows, and remove backgrounds, upscale or vectorise without leaving the canvas. The vendor says these features use partner models.
Each AI action costs tokens that vary by feature and model, with video costing more than images; the cost is shown before you generate, and tokens for a failed generation are refunded automatically.
Paid plans export PNG/JPG up to 10,800px at 300dpi, or PDF and SVG vectors, and unlock custom font uploads and the full premium library.
Start from templates and mockups, and work with fonts, text and vector tools alongside the AI features.
An MCP connector lets an AI assistant generate images, run workflows and check your token balance in your Kittl account; it is added manually, with no one-click setup yet.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
Yes. Free is free forever, with curated templates and assets, PNG/JPG exports up to 800px, 5 projects, 500MB of storage and a one-time 100 AI tokens. How far those tokens go is stated two ways in the help centre: one article says up to 100 images, another up to 10 standard images. Kittl says there is no time-limited trial; free users can preview most Pro features with light limits.
Kittl answers this two ways. The licensing terms limit Free-plan content to personal, non-commercial use, while the help article on AI design rights says Free users may sell such designs if they add 'provided by Kittl'. Confirm with Kittl before selling free-plan work; paid plans include commercial use.
The sources differ: the pricing FAQ says top-ups are for Expert and Max, while the help centre's token article says extra tokens can be bought on Pro, Expert and Max. Purchased tokens never expire.
Not the ones that come with your plan; they reset on schedule, and the daily allowance is used before the monthly one. Separately purchased tokens keep indefinitely, and a failed generation gives its tokens back automatically.
