Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
Gencraft suits casual creators who want to make AI images on a phone or in the browser for free and share them. The licence is the deciding detail: free images carry a non-commercial Creative Commons licence, subscribers own what they make while subscribed, and custom models trained on your photos belong to Gencraft. Gencraft's web plans page shows prices only after signing in, so the plan prices given are US App Store prices.
Gencraft runs in the browser and as iPhone, iPad and Android apps; the iPhone app needs iOS 17 or later. Anyone can generate on the free allowance, which refreshes daily, and video, longer storage and custom models come with a subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically each cycle, are cancelled where they were bought (Apple ID, Google Play or the web plans page), and app-store refund requests go to Apple or Google.
The web plans page shows its prices only after signing in, so the plan prices quoted are the US App Store's; other App Store storefronts, Google Play and the web may charge differently.
The licence differs by plan. Paying subscribers own images made while subscribed and keep commercial use after cancelling; free images come under CC BY-NC 4.0, which rules out commercial use. On every plan, users grant Gencraft a perpetual licence to uploads and outputs to develop the service, and custom models trained on a user's images belong to Gencraft. Deleting an account removes it with its creations and comments, except for iOS guest accounts.

What you can actually do with this tool.
Prompts generate images in a chosen model and style; a content filter blocks some prompts, and blocked prompts are refunded.
An existing picture can be restyled or transformed from a prompt rather than starting from text.
Pro subscribers train a model on their own images for a per-model fee charged before each run; trained models do not expire, though Gencraft owns them.
Subscribers can generate video, which uses one prompt per video, the same as an image.
Creations can be shared to a feed where other users browse and remix them.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
Only as a subscriber. Images made while subscribed are yours, to the extent the law allows, and stay usable commercially after you cancel; free-tier images come under a Creative Commons non-commercial licence (CC BY-NC 4.0).
On the US App Store, Starter is $3.99 a week or $7.99 a month and Pro is $9.99 a week or $19.99 a month, with custom-model training at $2.99 per model. These are US storefront prices, and what you pay elsewhere may not match them.
Gencraft's own pages give different limits: the home page says up to 500 images, while the FAQ on the model-training page says up to 200 images. Training is for Pro subscribers, with a fee per model.
