What is this tool?

Built for ecommerce marketers who need many short avatar or AI-actor ad variants and product shots without a shoot. Commercial use needs a paid plan, and the terms license what you generate only for as long as your agreement lasts, although product pages promise perpetual rights. If your ads would show a person, check the terms: on every plan they rule out using generated people in ads for supplements and other health or pharmaceutical products, tobacco or political endorsements.

There are three ways in. For an avatar video you write or generate a script, pick a presenter and setting, and export. For an ad you start from a URL: CreatorKit drafts the script, an AI actor performs it once you have edited it, and you spin off variants with different hooks and voiceovers. For stills you upload a product image and generate the scene around it. CreatorKit's home page also describes a Slack agent: drop a link to an article or brief into Slack, and when the video is ready a link arrives there for you to review it and leave timestamped feedback.

Plans count downloads, not generations. Each plan allows a set number of downloads in each category: 5 on Free, 10 on Pro, 50 on Business and 100 on Business Plus. Generations are listed as unlimited, but CreatorKit caps them at the plan's number of video downloads to prevent abuse and asks you to request more if you hit the cap; the terms add that usage beyond a plan's limits is charged separately, pay-as-you-go. Paid downloads are clean; free clips carry a small "AI" marker, and CreatorKit says it also embeds an invisible watermark. Subscriptions are paid upfront, monthly or annually, and renew until cancelled. A monthly or annual subscription cancelled within 5 days of the original purchase is refundable, but not once anything generated has been exported or published, whatever the product pages' money-back guarantee suggests.

Rights are where CreatorKit's pages and its terms part ways. The terms give you a non-exclusive licence to generated content for as long as the agreement lasts, apart from content already built into your products or services; the avatar pages advertise perpetual usage rights. Companies with more than $1,000,000 in annual gross revenue must buy a subscription for each person who uses CreatorKit on their behalf. Anything you upload, including faces, voices and product images, stays yours, but you grant CreatorKit a perpetual licence to use it to run, support, market and develop the service. Data is processed in the United States.

Is this right for you?

Quick fit check against how you actually work.

Choose this if
  • You need dozens of short ad variants from one product page and would rather edit an AI-drafted script than book a creator
  • You sell on Shopify and want product scenes made from inside the Shopify admin as well as presenter videos in the browser
  • Square, vertical and widescreen MP4s at up to 1080p cover every placement you buy
Consider alternatives if
  • Your ads would put an AI presenter in front of dietary supplements or other health, pharmaceutical or herbal products, tobacco, adult or dating services, or a political endorsement: the terms bar using generated people that way on every plan
  • You need rights that outlast your subscription: the terms tie the licence to the agreement, while the avatar pages promise perpetual rights
  • You want to publish what you make for free: free downloads are watermarked and for non-commercial use only
  • Several people at a company with more than $1,000,000 in annual revenue expected to share one seat; each user needs a subscription
  • You are not comfortable granting a perpetual licence to the faces, voices and product images you upload

Key features

What you can actually do with this tool.

Script-to-avatar video

Write a script or have one generated, choose a stock avatar and a setting, and export a lip-synced video without filming anyone. CreatorKit describes 300+ personas speaking 40+ languages and accents, filterable by age, style, language or vibe.

Ad drafts from a URL

Give CreatorKit a product or landing-page URL and it drafts a script for an AI actor. You edit the script, then remix versions with new hooks and AI voiceovers, and can mix your own footage in with the AI scenes.

Product photos in generated scenes

Upload a product image and place it in a background generated from a text prompt, a reference image or an editable template, then adjust it in a drag-and-drop editor. Shopify merchants can do this from the Shopify admin.

Placement-ready exports

Videos export as MP4 in square, vertical or widescreen, up to 1080p; 4K is listed as beta, on request.

Clones and custom presenters

Custom avatars of you or a brand ambassador are made on request and locked to your account. Clones built from a single uploaded photo are still labelled Private Beta on the pricing page; paid plans allow 1, 10 or 15 of them.

Frequently asked

Common questions about this tool, answered.

How much does CreatorKit cost?

The pricing page lists Pro at $39, Business at $99 and Business Plus at $134 a month billed monthly, or $32, $82 and $115 a month on the annual toggle, which is the view the page opens on; Enterprise is priced after a demo. The FAQs on the avatar and AI actor pages say plans start at $99 a month for 10 videos, which does not match that grid, so confirm the plan and its allowance at checkout. Plans bought through the Shopify app are billed by Shopify on a separate price list.

Is there a free version?

Yes. A $0 tier gives 5 downloads in each category and 5 AI script generations, and product photos can be made without a credit card. CreatorKit calls it a free trial but gives no end date. Free downloads carry a watermark and may only be used for non-commercial purposes.

Can I use CreatorKit videos in paid ads?

On a paid plan, yes, within the terms' restrictions. They bar using generated content in a way that puts any person shown in it in a bad light, and list as examples ads for pharmaceutical, healthcare, herbal or medical products including dietary supplements, tobacco, adult entertainment or dating services, and political endorsements; they do not say whether product-only photos are covered.

What happens to the photos, video and voice recordings I upload?

You keep ownership but grant CreatorKit a perpetual, worldwide licence to use them to provide, support, market and develop the service. The terms limit AI training on uploads to building features you ask for, such as a presenter from your own footage, or to de-identified data, which never includes photos, video or voice. You can ask for data tied to your email to be deleted at creatorkit.com/forget-me.
