Turns podcast and video recordings into transcripts, show notes, posts and clips, on paid plans from $19 a month billed annually
Fast-read signals for fit, pricing, and trust.
Podcasters, YouTube creators and content teams who publish long recordings every week get the transcript, show notes, posts and clips drafted from each one. Size the plan in hours: each plan includes a library of transcribed hours (Hobby 30, Starter 100, Team 400), and Castmagic's pricing page lists no rate for buying more. API access starts on Starter, not Hobby.
Bring in a recording by link, feed or file, with autopilot picking up each new episode, and Castmagic transcribes it. From the transcript you generate written pieces from prompts, use Magic Chat across your library and cut clips and audiograms in Studio; the library can also be reached over the REST API. The home page's import widget takes MP3, WAV, M4A or MP4 files up to 1GB before sign-up; the plan table's maximum file size is 10GB, with up to 50 concurrent uploads. Castmagic lists web and iOS as its platforms.
Plans are measured in transcribed hours, which the pricing page describes as a library you build up over time, and more hours can be bought on every plan at any time. Castmagic's contact FAQ suggests Hobby for about 60 minutes of content a week, Starter for 2–3 hours, and Business or a conversation beyond that.
Plans bill monthly or annually (the pricing page opens on the annual-billed prices) and can be upgraded or downgraded at any time. Under the terms (last updated 10/31/24), you may cancel whenever you like, from account settings or through support, and the plan stays active to the end of the current billing period; payments are non-refundable unless the terms say otherwise, and partial months are not refunded. The terms name the operator as Magic Studio LLC.
Under the terms, uploaded material remains the uploader's property, with the operator licensed to use it only to provide the service, and that uploaded content is not shared, sold or used for anything beyond providing and improving the service unless the law requires. The privacy policy (May 9, 2024) states encryption at rest and in transit for sensitive data.

Speaker-labelled, timestamped transcription in 60+ languages, with Hindi, Japanese and Ukrainian among those Castmagic names, delivered 'minutes after upload' in the vendor's words.
Drafts show notes, newsletters, posts and 2000+ word outputs from built-in, custom or community prompts, with unlimited re-generations on every plan, plus Magic Chat and an AI strategist over your library.
Clips, swipeable carousels, captioned vertical clips and audiograms are cut in Studio; media clipping and audiogram generation are unlimited on every plan, and AI image generation is included.
The comparison table ticks Zoom, Google Drive, Zapier, RSS and YouTube, TikTok and Instagram import on every plan. The home page adds autopilot for each new episode, a REST API and a Castmagic MCP server for Claude; the comparison table limits API access to Starter and Team.

Common questions about this tool, answered.
Castmagic's contact-page FAQ says yes, a free trial 'to play with a few episodes and see how it works in action'. It states no duration, episode count or card requirement, the pricing page carries no trial terms, and the sign-up form asks for a name, email and password or a Google or Apple login, with no card field.
The pricing FAQ describes each plan's transcribed hours, 30 on Hobby, 100 on Starter and 400 on Team, as a library built up over time; it does not say whether the total resets. Every plan can buy more hours at any time, but the pricing page prints no price for them. The terms, which describe plans in transcription minutes, say exceeding them may bring overage fees and send readers to the pricing page for the rates.
The pricing page has a Monthly / Annually switch and advertises 'Save 30%' on annual billing, but its default view prints only the annual-billed prices, which come to $239 a year for Hobby, $579 for Starter and $1,669 for Team. Monthly-billed prices for those three plans are not printed in that view. Team's extra seats are +$159/yr per seat on annual billing or +$19/mo per seat on monthly billing, and Business & Scale reads 'From $699 /mo' in the default annual view.
